Michelle Galbraith has been fostering for over 19 years. Her professional career was centred around children before she realised that she had something to offer children professionally from within her home.

Fostering is incredibly hard. It's heartbreaking - but it's so rewarding. You're giving something that every child needs and has a right to, but lots of children don't have. You can give them that.

Michelle's experience shows, from her terminology to her calm voice and her considered words. She has a baby living with her currently as part of a P&C placement. She is also fostering a 9-year-old year on a Therapeutic Led Care placement, the details of which she shares more about in our video interview below.
